THE RACHEL GIBSON’S BOOK REVIEW …. ( so far …..) chp 1
So I’ve been reading and still trying to collect all Rachel Gibson’s novel. And so far … I’m liking it … that is why, I’m reviewing some of her novel that I’ve bought and re-read it every now and then. Some of her books were series, and since I didn’t buy according to the series, I’m going to review it according to the date I bought the novel. So hope you like it…
I’M IN NO MOOD FOR LOVE
From www.rachelgibson.com :
What is Clare Wingate doing? One minute she's suffering in a pretty-in-pink gown she'll never wear again, and the next thing she knows it's morning . . . and she has the nastiest hangover of her life.
To make matters worse, she's wearing nothing but a spritz of Escada and lying next to Sebastian Vaughan . . . her girlhood crush turned sexy, globe-hopping journalist. Somewhere between the toast and the toss of the bouquet she'd gotten herself into a whole lot of trouble.
Clare had the right to go wild-;after all, she'd been knocked off her dyed-to-match shoes after finding her own fiancé in a compromising position with the washing machine repairman. Clearly her society wedding is off.
But Sebastian pushed all the wrong buttons-;and some of the right ones, too. Clare is in no mood for love-;not even for lust-;and wants to forget about Sebastian and his six-pack abs ASAP. But he isn't in the mood to go away, and his kiss is impossible to forget.
My Review :
Clare is a romantic novelist, and Sebastian is a journalist, and they were childhood friend, ( well its crush for Claire ), and after years they met again in, well sort of, because Clare was in her room with Sebastian on her side, and to make matter worse she’s going to see a lot of him, for his father still work at Clare’s house as a driver.
Some misunderstanding later, he kissed, seduced and seems can’t get enough of her, his childhood friendemy, who he couldn’t stand back then, but now has grown into a very beautiful woman.
Both of them weren’t looking for love, but beyond kisses, and sexy sex on the top of Clare’s drawer later, they realize that they were made for each other.
……………………………….
This was my first Rachel Gibson novel. At first I wasn’t too sure about RG, because I never read or heard of her before, but the plot of child frenemy always caught my attention, and I didn’t disappointed with the story.
The pace was fast, without tattering, and the conversation was witty, and there were some funny cute scenes and not to mention some hot makes out. It’s worth my money and a great introduction to the great author.
