The Body Shop : BB Cream Color Adapting Tinted Cream

I was meaning to give this one a review since I tried it over 2 years ago. Got to admit, this is prolly one of the best BB cream I've ever used.

I'm not a big fan of heavy foundation for my everyday look, since Bali is so hot, made me sweaty, I need something light and give me the perk of that 20's glow :) ( Mind you I'm 36 and counting ).

Mind you, I do lots of anti aging stuff ( since like decades ago - or when I start to turn 30 ), before I'm using this herbal cream made locally in my home town. When I first bought the BB Cream of The Body Shop, I never expected that I'm going to like it that much, sure I bought the wrong color at first ( thinking that Im lighter ), then I learned that number 3 suits best for me.

So here it goes, the perk of my review

From www.thebodyshop.co.id :
All In One All In One BB Cream shade 01 not only provides moisture for 24 hours and smooth but also an innovative formula that Pigment-Filled Capsules. Pigment-Filled Capsules is a pigment such as a capsule that when swipe to skin it will release the color in it so that it can adapt to the skin color.Community Fair Trade Marula Nut Oil from Namibia, humectants and vitamin E can provide moisture for 24 hours on the skin. Skin feels smooth, soft and can help you to "look good, feel good and do good"

Review on the website :
The website is informative, simple and user friendly

Packaging :
Its a tube, clean one, and easy to use. When you open the cap, the cream wills stay inside, until you give it a squeeze. Its a smart and simple packaging, with a silver color, it also exudes a high end stuff.

Texture :
It's creamy. It looks white when you first squeeze it, but when you apply it to your face, it will change color. So choose your color right ladies.

How to Apply :
I usually use it after I apply The Body Shop blur effect ( great product also), where it will make your pore smaller and your face smoother. Afterward, I apply the BB cream, just few dots, and apply it gently with my make up brush, which I think gave me a more moist natural look. ( but sometimes I add powder to my T area)

My Skin Condition :
Oily on my T zone and dry on my cheekbone area

My Review :
I love it, not only it enhance my natural look, but it also gives my skin tone a more kick ass color.

Surviving the BIG WHITE ELEPHANT ( Experience on Long Distance Relationship)

 Screenshot_2015-04-22-08-51-16

Yes, It's not a new one, lots has been said about this stuff on the internet, but since I happen to do the "stuff", I am obligated to tell my experience on surviving the relationship.

Yes, It's hard. Specially when you are used to having him near ( and yes I'm talking about SEX ), and harder, when you consider this guy is on your top 3 list of best sex ever ...

Yes, you need to learn how to trust each other. Imagining him partying with his friend, or worst, spending a night with an old friend, who happens to be a girl, is so freakin hard to accept. But, so far as love goes, it'll test your love and trust.

Yes, jealousy is a bitch. But on my defense, it could be something healthy too. I always think that with love, comes jealousy, so yes ladies, it's ok to get jealous for no reason, but let him know.

Yes, you need to stop thinking that it won't work. Sure, all your friends have their boyfriend near, and you can't stand watching how lovey dovey they are, and gets really annoyed when they just cancel your appointment because their bf wants to shag her that day. But, it won't hurt to take a chance on this person, listen to your heart, if it says otherwise, by all means,

Yes, communication is the key. Make sure to let him know how you've been doing and how you are feeling currently, tell him you miss him, and miss having you near too. Tell him that you also been planning lots of naughty stuff to do when he comes back. It won't hurt to say I love you before and after you've gone to bed. Just so ;)

Yes, taking selfies and send it to him is a must, specially when you are feeling sexy. And talking about being and getting sexy, watching some sexy stuff together and the same time, will also be a great idea. In some way, it help channeling how much you miss being with him, and him being with you.

Yes, having smartphones helps a lot ( so begin saving and stop buying all those crap online), and have one where you can have lot's of chat apps. I used Viber, Wassaps and Skype, so yeah, I am basically covered.

Yes, make plans. Lot's of it, even the ridiculous one. It'll take your mind off and helps to remind you that you are really looking forward to the day when you are going to see him again.

Yes, it's difficult when you are having an argument or fighting online or over your phone. And it could be a very risky one too, specially if it's based on a mis communication. So, you need to really open your heart to instant forgiveness, I mean, are all those arguments really worth it? ( since you can have a make up sex right away ).

Yes, preparation on how you or when you're going to meet can be fun. Imagine, you haven't seen him for lot's of sometimes, and when it's time for you to meet, it helps to set the location and mood for the best outcome.

So Ladies, Long Distance Relationship is crappy, but it can be good in someway, you will have a lot of times for yourself, your family and for your single friends. Have fun while he's away, get a new hobby and do a new stuff, or even better, a make over yourself, and surprise him :)

Good luck with your LDR, lemme know if your experience or whether your experiencing the same thing.
xoxo

URBAN DECAY NAKED SKIN : WEIGHTLESS ULTRA DEFINITION LIQUID MAKEUP (FOUNDATION)

As you guys might know, I have been following Pixiwoos Make Up Tutorial for quite sometimes now  .. ( ah okay, prolly from when Sam still do the shooting at her home, with low quality camera, already in love with her then ), any who, I have been learning to do the face sculpting, and boy, its hard, I keep practicing tho, and hopefully I keep getting better. I have been eyeing Ben Nye Contouring Palate, but sadly, they don’t sell it here in Indonesia, I need to order them online, and guess what, it didn’t deliver to Bali. So basically, I was disappointed. But not for long, because, when I found myself in the middle of Sephora biggest store in Singapore, I kinda feel  my heart mend a little. There I spotted Urban Decay Foundation. Yup, foundation, while I was looking for a contour, I choose UB foundation as my contour cream ( so sue me ).
UB Foundation offers 18 shades, from the lightest to the darkest, so I wouldn’t overly worry I wont get the correct color.
Based on the review at its website, lots are referring to how great the product is, and honestly tho, it is such a great product, but since I'm only using it for contouring, I can't help to notice how light it actually was.
I once mixed it with my lighter color of BB cream from The Body Shop ( forgotten that I suppose to make a review of it, o well, I'll do that later), and since I bought a dark shades ( I believe its #10), it's mixed wasn't pretty bad.
From www.Urbandecay.com :
Coverage without compromise. Our weightless formula blurs imperfections for a flawless finish that feels invisible, but looks professionally retouched.Whoever said 'you can't have the best of both worlds' never tried Naked Skin. Not only does our new light-as-air foundation give you the buildable coverage you desire – it also looks and feels like you're wearing absolutely nothing.
Naked Skin uses light-diffusing spheres to 'blur' imperfections for a luminous, demi-matte finish that feels invisible but looks professionally retouched. Naked Skin is oil-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free, and loaded with nourishing ingredients:
Matrixyl 3000-Anti-wrinkle and lifting peptides restore and  maintain skin's youthful appearance while increasing elasticity.
Litchiderm (derived from lychee fruit) – Protects the skin from dehydration, oxidative stress and accelerated aging, resulting in a brighter, more radiant complexion.
Green Tea & Vitamin E – These anti-oxidants neutralize free-radicals and promote collagen production for smooth and supple skin.
Sodium Hyaluronate – Holds and attracts water for optimal hydration, circulation and nutrient absorption, making skin smooth, soft and youthful.
Our range of 18 meticulously calibrated shades use a numbering system to help you choose your perfect match. Shades ending in '.0' are warm (yellow/olive undertones). Shades ending in '.5' are cool (rosy/neutral undertones).
For professional results, we recommend you apply, buff and blur your way to a flawless finish with our Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush. Designed specifically for Naked Skin, the densely packed shape of this amazing brush distributes makeup evenly and perfectly buffs out the light-diffusing spheres for a soft-focus finish. Don't have the brush? You can also apply using your fingers or sponge – Naked Skin always blends beautifully.
Fill Weight: 30ml / 1 oz
Color Options :
It has 18 shades of options, I didn't know that human skin can go to that much spectrum :), which is great I gues.

My Review on the website :
The website is freakin great, I love how it's user friendly, every page consist of the the product, already separated, makes it easier to browse.

Packaging :
Beautifully packaged. A plastic glassy tube, with a pump, and if you shake it, it will be have this metal ball inside, which i'm sure the purpose is to mixed it.

Texture :
Very liquid, and easy to apply. Specially if you have your own contouring brush or sponge, so easy to blend also.

How to apply :

HOT STUFF

FAVORITE STYLE OF THE YEAR : INDONESIAN CIREBON BATIK

Indonesia has lots of cultures, from the variety of foods to its traditional clothes. One of them is The Cirebon Batik.

Like any typical places in Java, Cirebon has its own style in the Batik art. It's mostly got something to do with the drawing or the clouds, or mega. And it's as beautiful as any other Batik in any other places in Indonesia.

And that is why I'm searching for the style of the Cirebon Batik a year ago, the wannabe designer in me always have the urge to once again live up my childhood dream.

And since the fabric is so flowy and thin ( but of course with a good quality), it's good to wear at the tropical weather like here.

So I hope you enjoy looking at some of my design, please go to the FB page. http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/Dnins-House/167428916602432
