LIVING IN BALI .. so far ...e

So it has been two and a half month since my moving to Bali. Through some difficult personal process , I land a job here, not by accident ( because like everybody else, I’ve  gone through some  job selection and decided, that Bali would be a cool place to start over ). Anyhow …  Getting a job probably one of the few step I had to take on, in order to re-organize my life, so, what the hell.. let’s get the interview be done with, then fly away to BALI … yeah … like the ad, a dream job awaits you.

So I packed my bag, say good bye to families, promising them that they can visit me here in Bali, a little bit teary, but feeling so excited. I am HERE … or THERE …

As soon as I get off from the plane,  get my bag, I immediately call Blue Bird. But unfortunetly Blue Birds isn’t allowed to park at the airport, talk about monopoly or just simply being jealous, but still, I call them anyway, and they told me to go and wait at the arrival gate. L. Now Imagine a bag, big clothes bag, plus a laptop Bag, plus another bag, so I’m bringing 3 big heavy bag, and I have to walk till the airport gate. What’s up with that? But God loves me, I found my Blue Birds as soon as I arrived at the gate.

I asked the driver to drive me to Batubulan, Gianyar. Now, every time that I go to Bali I always stay in Kuta. I mean where else? Kuta is the place to stay or go in Bali. What I was wrong of course. And since I never been to stay outside Kuta, I was a little bit anxious to go to this place. I mean where the hell is Batubulan? Gianyar? Seriously. And after 45 minutes later,  I arrived, soundly, but sadly, no one seems to be here. Hhhmmmmmmm… oh ..wait a minute.. there’s a girl, yup, she’s the one who’s been emailing me, or to be exact I mailed her, constantly, about the place. And now that I’m here, wow … you shoud ceck it out by your self… I mean the place was great, the view is paddy field. SPECTACULAR. Give it to my boss who chose the place wisely.









And after two and half months later, me … laying in the gazebo.. working, or at least try to work… while listening to some music .. LIFE IS GOOD …

The conclusion about Bali was being just KUTA was totally wrong. I took it for granted. 30 minutes from my place, you can find sukawati  ( the cheapest marketplace in Bali), 10 minutes, bham go the Monkey Forest, 15 minutes later, wow … UBUD .. the serenity of bali… yes … I was such a fool, to think all those night life in Kuta the center of the world ..

Because contrary to Kuta, the place I’m living / working in is a quite place, sure there something smokes from people burning the paddy on the field, but it’s the draught season and coming to rainy season, can’t blame the farmer. But overall it was GOOD ….

Next chapter …. Getting Heavily Drunk ….

FAVORITE STYLE OF THE YEAR : INDONESIAN CIREBON BATIK

Indonesia has lots of cultures, from the variety of foods to its traditional clothes. One of them is The Cirebon Batik.

Like any typical places in Java, Cirebon has its own style in the Batik art. It's mostly got something to do with the drawing or the clouds, or mega. And it's as beautiful as any other Batik in any other places in Indonesia.

And that is why I'm searching for the style of the Cirebon Batik a year ago, the wannabe designer in me always have the urge to once again live up my childhood dream.

And since the fabric is so flowy and thin ( but of course with a good quality), it's good to wear at the tropical weather like here.

    MY WISH LIST : Real Techniques Brushes Metal Edition

    I Just Love love love Real Technique Brushes. I have been following Pixiwoos make up turorial in Youtube since forever, and I love Sam Chapman tutorial, I think she's briallian. Sam and Nic been releasing brushes product, which I found so very good, and I have been buying those brushes, and feel happy about it. Aaaaannndd the latest edition would be the bold metal edition, I wish they are here already in Indonesia, so I can grab those for my self :)

    I 've been yearning to have the complete series of professional make up brush, face, eyes, and lips... from the biggest to the smallest. Been searching for the top brand names, but I probably settle for the knock out ones.. lol, still it made me smile.

    Other names, such as MAC, Bobbi Brown, Make Up forever, Sygma, has it's own kits, and they all are beautiful, and expensive.

    So, I've decided to save up and buy all those things at the end of the year...
