REVIEW OF MY ROMANCE NOVEL : Gergeous As Sin By Susan Johnson
From www.fantastifiction.co.uk :
Fitz Monckton, Duke of Groveland, has never encountered a woman he can't seduce - until he clashes with the beautiful Rosalind St. Vincent, whose bookshop sits in the way of Fitz's lucrative development deal. If money won't entice Rosalind to sell her shop, Fitz must tempt her in other ways - hopefully mutually pleasurable, and profitable to them both.
Plot :
Fitz Monckton were in hurry so he won't lose 90.000 grand of money to build a property, but Rosalind's bookshop stand in the way of project, and she was too stubborn to take his money, little did he know that Rosalind has a secret peofession that he could use to get her out his way, but will he do it?
What I Think :
I love Susan Johnson's novel, I am her fan since I first read her novel Pure SIn, which is by all mean the sexiest novel I;ve ever read, great plot, fast pace, mixing romance and hot hot hot since.
So when I found this book and read it all night long, I found my self skipping some of the pages, because it was kinda dull, it consist too much sex ( not that I'm complaining), but it just too much, I mean I kinda expect that Rosalin would be a little hard to get considering that her property was in danger, and the scene was so typical of SJ's, lots of heavy sex and the word " I don't take order very well", yeah right.
And in the end, I always thought that heroin on SJ books, were all sex starved women, who's easy to get and will do anything just to get laid, well... I mean if it were like Daisy Black of Forbidden, I would probably won't mind, because she is a strong character, maybe because SJ took some times on making forbidden, unlike this one, I mean I just read their love making, and a chapter later, they can't wait to get into each other pants.... again....
Anyway .... the plot were good, but I wish SJ make it like she really meant it ...
Rating :
2/5
